Contact Investigation Record
The primary NTIP focus area of this tool is contact investigations. This tool assists nurses as they carryout a contact investigation as it serves as a contact tracking form. The primary targets for this tool are contacts in a TB contact investigation. This tool requires both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Public Health Nurse Survey
The primary NTIP focus area of this tool is program evaluation. This tool is an online survey that the Utah Department of Health distributed to local public health nurses statewide in March 2010. The purpose of the survey was to assess barriers to successful TB contact investigations throughout Utah. This tool required quantitative and qualitative analysis. Workplace Contact Investigation Protocols
The primary NTIP focus area of this tool is contact investigations. These guidelines and protocols were primarilydeveloped to assist local health departments (LHDs) in completing contact investigations in the workplace. However, occupational health and infection control staff outside of health departments may find this document useful. Focus Group Moderator Guide--TB Contact Investigations
The primary NTIP focus area of this tool is contact investigations. This tool is a Focus Group Moderator Guide that the Utah Department of Health used to conduct focus groups among local public health nurses statewide in July 2011. The purpose of the focus groups was to assess barriers to successful TB contact investigations throughout Utah, particularly: (1) language, (2) culture, and (3) immigration issues.
